This composition was intended to be the finale of the Mikrokosmos choir’s 20th anniversary show, Le jardin perdu, which was never performed. I reused the main melody in my children’s opera L’Europe de mes rêves (song Un souffle) and in my musical One World At A Time (song Intelligence With The Earth). Territoires du souffle no longer exists as a vocal work, but I used the title by Andrée Chedid as the name for my vocal-instrumental group in 2012.
